Description
This three-piece set of pressed glass was manufactured by the Indiana Glass Company for Tiara Exclusives. Rendered in a transparent Smoke charcoal grey, the collection includes one rectangular tray and a pair of tall chalices. The tray features a central relief-molded depiction of Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper within a frosted well, framed by a scalloped rim decorated with grape clusters and foliage. The two chalices feature octagonal bases and bowls decorated with a wrap-around relief of the same biblical scene, accented by a Latin cross and trailing grapevines. The set retains its original gold foil a Tiara EXCLUSIVE oval labels on the tray and one chalice. Included are the original corrugated cardboard manufacturer boxes with handwritten identification. Tray: 11 inches L x 6.5 inches W. halices: 7 inches H. The glassware is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor adhesive residue is present on the reverse of the tray. The original boxes show age-related wear, including foxing, staining, and handwritten notations.
