This collection of Irish porcelain from Belleek Pottery features the Shamrock pattern on a molded fluted body. The set is crafted from fine parian porcelain with a creamy iridescent luster glaze on the interiors. Each piece is decorated with hand-painted green shamrocks on delicate brown stems. The collection includes two teacups with wishbone handles, three saucers with scalloped edges, one small creamer, one open sugar bowl, and two small scalloped condiment dishes. The bases bear various black printed marks. One mark includes a banner for Belleek and a ribbon for the retailer Robinson and Cleaver, Belfast. Another mark displays the Belleek crest featuring a wolfhound, harp, and tower, along with the registration number 0857 and the location Co. Fermanagh Ireland. Saucers: 5 inches diameter Teacups: 2.25 inches height. The set is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. There is light wear to the luster glaze on the interior of the cups and bowls consistent with age and use. Minor kiln specks and manufacturing irregularities are present.
