Description
One Hurst V-Matic 2 automatic floor shifter, part number 383 8520. This dual-action shifter is designed to provide a manual 4-speed appearance while offering two modes of operation: a standard in-line shift pattern or a high-performance ratchet shift. The unit features a highly polished shifter lever topped with a brushed aluminum T-handle. It includes a trigger-operated reverse lockout that is NHRA and IHRA approved, as well as an integrated neutral safety and back-up light switch. This is a NASCAR officially licensed product manufactured in the United States by the Hurst Division of Mr. Gasket Co. The shifter is compatible with a wide range of transmissions including GM TH250, 350, 375, 400, 700-R4, and 200-4R; Chrysler and AMC A727 and A904; and Ford C-4 and C-6. The box features the Hurst Shifters logo, the NASCAR officially licensed logo, and the copyright date of 1992. Box Measures: 15 inches x 11.75 inches x 6.5 inches. New Old Stock (NOS) condition. The item remains in its original retail packaging and appears never to have been installed or used. The shifter cable is coiled with its original green warning tag, and internal components remain in factory brown paper wrapping. The box exhibits minor shelf wear and age-related discoloration.
