Description
This commemorative pressed glass plate was produced by Tiara Exclusive to celebrate the centennial of the Statue of Liberty. The plate is made of clear glass with a smoky blue-grey tint. The center of the plate features an embossed, frosted-style depiction of the Statue of Liberty. The figure holds a tablet embossed with the date JULY IV MDCCLXXVI. The central design is surrounded by the embossed text Liberty Enlightening The World and the years 1886 and 1986. The rim is decorated with a continuous band of embossed five-pointed stars. A gold foil sticker is attached to the base, featuring the Tiara EXCLUSIVE manufacturer mark. The item is accompanied by its original cardboard box, which bears the Tiara Exclusive logo and the model number T-273, as well as a printed paper insert featuring the same commemorative graphic. Diameter: 8 inches The glass plate is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or surface wear. The gold foil manufacturer sticker is intact with minor fading. The original cardboard box and paper insert show significant age-related yellowing, staining, creasing, and shelf wear.
