Description
This vintage pickup truck was manufactured by Tonka Toys of Mound, Minnesota, dating to approximately 1960. The vehicle is constructed of pressed steel with a tan painted finish. It features a classic late 1950s style cab design with a step-side bed. The truck is equipped with four heavy-duty black rubber tires featuring white plastic hubcap inserts. The tires are embossed with Tonka Toys U.S.A. and the cab doors retain the original oval Tonka Toys decals. This is a free-rolling push toy with no internal motor mechanism. Length: 12 inches Height: 5.5 inches The item is in as-found, weathered condition with a heavy overall patina. There is significant surface rust and extensive paint loss across the entire body, bed, and chassis. The cab roof is notably bent downward on the driver side. The plastic windshield and window inserts are missing. The tailgate is missing from the rear of the bed. While the left headlight assembly retains its yellow plastic insert, the right side is missing components. The wheels are attached but show rust on the axles and metal centers.
