Description
Two pressed glass platters in the Sandwich pattern, manufactured by the Indiana Glass Company and distributed by Tiara Exclusives. Both items are made of translucent amber glass. The decorative program consists of a central multi-petal floral medallion surrounded by a stippled ground, scrollwork, and secondary floral motifs. The larger platter is distinguished by a wide, fluted rim. No maker marks or labels are present on either piece. Large Platter: 13 inches in diameter Small Platter: 10 inches in diameter. Both items are in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible. Minor surface wear and manufacturing bubbles consistent with pressed glass of this period may be present.
