Description
This vintage men’s heavyweight coat is manufactured by Lakeland. The garment is constructed from a tan suede exterior with a 100 percent wool shearling interior, as indicated by the Woolmark tag. The design features prominent exposed shearling seams on the body, sleeves, and pockets. It includes a large notched shearling-trimmed collar, two deep front patch pockets with shearling borders, and straight cuffs. The front closure consists of three large marbled faux-horn buttons with an additional smaller button and loop closure at the neck. Interior labels include a woven satin Lakeland label with a ram’s head logo, a size 42 tag, a care instruction tag for suede and leather experts, and a Woolmark 100 percent wool tag. Pit-to-Pit: 22 inches Length: 30 inches Sleeve Length: 27 inches The coat is in good vintage condition. There is visible surface soiling and darkening on the suede, primarily at the cuffs and along the bottom hemline. Light spotting and variations in the suede nap are present throughout the exterior. A minor area of loose threading is visible at an interior seam near the collar. The shearling lining shows some matting at the edges. Bottom button is sewn in place.
