Description
A pair of cast brass bookends depicting waterfowl or duck heads. The items are manufactured from cast brass with a hollow interior, featuring visible seam lines on the posterior of the necks indicating a two-part mold process. The undersides are finished with protective flocking. One bookend retains a multi-part paper label from the importer Decorative Crafts, Inc., identifying the pieces as hand-crafted and made in Korea. The label includes a handwritten reference number 4585. Height: 6 inches The brass surfaces exhibit a natural aged patina with minor surface wear. There are small dark spots and light pitting consistent with age and use. The protective flocking on the undersides shows minor shelf wear.
