Description
This lot consists of two vintage gold over sterling, vermeil, cocktail rings featuring various gemstones. The first ring is a solitaire style featuring one large oval cabochon-cut opaque green stone consistent with nephrite jade. The stone is bezel-set within a scalloped floral-style gallery. The interior of the shank is incised with a gold over sterling 14K hallmark, vermeil. The second ring is a tiered cluster ring in a marquise-shaped arrangement. The setting features a central row of five round-cut green stones, likely emeralds, flanked by two rows of fourteen round-cut clear accent stones. All stones are prong-set on a split decorative shank. The interior of the shank is stamped sterling. Nephrite stone: approximately 16mm x 12mm Ring sizes: 7.25 and 5.5 Total combined weight: 11.4 grams. The nephrite jade ring is in good vintage condition with light surface wear and minor scratches to the gold consistent with age. The emerald and clear stone cluster ring is in fair to good condition with moderate surface wear.
