Description
This barware set, attributed to Park Sherman, features a clear molded glass decanter produced by the Maryland Glass Corporation. The decanter body is decorated with molded horizontal ribbing and a vertical column of circular motifs. The base of the glass is embossed with the Maryland Glass Corporation mark, consisting of the letter M inside a circle above the numeral 2. The set includes a chrome-plated metal pump-action dispenser mechanism topped with a circular red resin handle. A matching circular chrome-plated metal tray serves as a carousel, featuring a central opening for the decanter and circular cutouts for the accompanying glassware. The set is completed by several clear glass shot glasses, some of which feature gold-toned bands at the rims. Measurements: Decanter height: 6 inches (excluding pump mechanism) Tray diameter: 8.5 inches. The set is in good vintage condition. The metal components show minor surface wear and light oxidation consistent with age. The glass elements are free of visible chips or cracks. There is noticeable wear and thinning to the gold-toned rim decoration on several of the shot glasses.
