Description
An iridescent clear pressed glass basket, attributed to the L.E. Smith Glass Company in the Quintec pattern. This mid-20th-century American piece features an oval form with a deep diamond-point geometric motif across the exterior. The glass is finished with a pearlescent iridescence, often referred to as an Aurora finish, which provides a rainbow-like luster. The vessel is designed with a flared, scalloped rim and a tall, applied clear glass handle with circular terminals. The base is finished with a molded starburst motif. No maker’s marks are present.

The basket is in excellent professional condition. No chips, cracks, or fractures are visible. The iridescent surface is well-preserved with minimal signs of wear. Light shelf wear is present on the underside of the base.
