Description
A two-piece collection of vibrant blue pressed glass comprising a large serving plate and a coordinating bowl. Each piece is executed in a transparent blue glass featuring a prominent central molded starburst motif. The plate displays a wide, swirled optic rim with a scalloped edge, while the matching bowl features a deep, swirled optic body and a similarly scalloped rim. This design is attributed to the Fairfield pattern produced by Anchor Hocking, dating to the mid-20th century. No maker’s marks or signatures are present.
Plate: 10.5 inches diameter.
Bowl: 6.5 inches diameter, 3.5 inches height.
Both pieces appear to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or significant scratches were observed during inspection. Minor shelf wear to the underside of the bases consistent with age and use.
