Lot 319:
Description
A hexagonal pressed blue glass lidded candy dish, attributed to the Indiana Glass Company for the Tiara Exclusives line, circa 1970s. The vessel features a series of alternating molded panels: one depicting a heraldic eagle with outspread wings beneath three stars, and the other a central eight-pointed star within a circular border. Both decorative elements are set against a finely stippled ground. The matching hexagonal lid tapers to a sharp, faceted finial. This piece reflects the patriotic motifs popular during the American Bicentennial era. No maker’s marks or signatures are present.
Base height is approximately 3 inches; total height with lid is approximately 6 inches.
The item is in good vintage condition with no apparent chips, cracks, or repairs. Minimal surface wear consistent with age.
