Description
Attributed to Fenton Art Glass, this two-piece pressed glass vessel is crafted in a translucent pink hue with opalescent white accents. The footed bowl features a molded diagonal swirl pattern below a thick opalescent rim. The matching domed lid displays a radial fluted design and is surmounted by a figural insect finial, likely a bee, in opalescent pink glass. Both pieces exhibit prominent mold seams on the body, lid, and base, which are characteristic of the pressing process. This piece is representative of mid-20th century American decorative glass. The base stands approximately 2.75 inches in height without the lid. The item is in good overall condition. There are no observed chips, cracks, or restorations.
