Description
This mid-20th century American art glass vase is attributed to the Fenton Art Glass Company. The piece is crafted from transparent apple green glass and features a globular body with a mold-blown hobnail pattern. The neck displays a diagonal swirled or ribbed texture that transitions into a widely flared, hand-crimped, ruffled rim. The construction involves a mold-blown body with a hand-finished neck and rim. The base features a rough, snapped pontil mark in the center. No embossed or etched maker’s marks are present. Height: 8 inches. The vase is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the ruffled rim or the hobnail protrusions. There is minor shelf wear and light brownish residue on the underside of the base.
