Description
This lot features two commemorative pressed glass items with patriotic American themes. The first item is a Statue of Liberty Centennial plate produced by Tiara Exclusives to commemorate the 1886 to 1986 anniversary. The plate is constructed of transparent light blue glass and features a raised-relief center image of the Statue of Liberty. It is inscribed with the text Liberty Enlightening The World and the years 1886 and 1986. The rim is finished with an embossed border of five-pointed stars. The item retains its original gold foil Tiara Exclusive label and includes the original cardboard storage box. The second item is a clear pressed glass replica of the Liberty Bell. The yoke is finished with a frosted satin texture to simulate wood grain. The bell features molded inscriptions mirroring the original historical monument, including Pass and Stow and Philada. It includes a molded crack detail and an internal glass clapper attached by a metal chain. Measurements: Plate: 8.5 inches in diameter Bell: 5.5 inches in height. Both pieces are in excellent condition. The plate shows no signs of chips, cracks, or repairs and is accompanied by its original packaging. The Liberty Bell figurine is structurally sound with the clapper and chain intact. No damage is visible beyond the intentional molded crack detail.
