Description
This collection includes three cobalt blue pressed glass plates, specifically one large platter and two dinner plates. The pieces feature a decorative pattern consisting of a ring of oval thumbprint indentations flanked by concentric zigzag borders. This design is identified in market contexts as the Tiara Crown Imperial pattern and is also recognized as the Moderntone pattern originally produced by the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company. The glass exhibits a vibrant, uniform cobalt blue color throughout with a smooth central well and a broad, flat rim. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the bases of the plates. Platter diameter: 13 1/4 inches Dinner plate diameter: 10 1/4 inches. The items are in good vintage condition. There are no observed chips, cracks, or repairs. No UV reactivity was noted.
