Description

This set of four pressed glass goblets is rendered in a deep cobalt blue color. The pieces feature the King’s Crown pattern, also commonly referred to as the Thumbprint pattern. The design is characterized by a central horizontal band of large circular indentations, bordered by a decorative zig-zag or scalloped molded edge. Each vessel includes a molded stem with decorative knops and a plain circular foot. These items are attributed to American manufacturers such as Indiana Glass or Tiffin-Franciscan, who produced this pattern extensively during the mid-20th century. Visible mold seams are present on the stems and feet, which is characteristic of the pressed-glass manufacturing process. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the bases or bodies of the glassware. Height: Approximately 5.5 inches. The items are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or significant surface wear are observed. Mold seams are prominent on the stems and feet, consistent with the original manufacturing method.
