Description
An American Art Deco style earthenware mixing bowl, attributed to Hall China in the Radiance pattern. The bowl features a deep, circular form with a flat base and slightly tapered sides. The exterior is decorated with molded vertical panels separated by recessed ribs. Alternating panels feature a molded crescent or U-shaped motif at the upper edge near the rim. The piece is finished in a monochromatic, glossy pale yellow or buttercream glaze. The base has an unglazed circular foot ring and is otherwise glazed and unmarked. Height: 4.25 inches Diameter: 9 inches. The bowl displays extensive fine-line crazing throughout the glaze on both the interior and exterior surfaces. There are scattered minor surface scuffs and small dark marks on the exterior body. No chips, structural cracks, or repairs are visible.
