Description
A pair of clear faceted glass star ornaments from the Rosenthal studio-linie collection. These ornaments, titled Kosta-Sterne, were designed by Swedish artist Vicke Lindstrand. Each ornament features a multi-pointed, three-dimensional geometric form constructed to refract light. The top of each star includes an integrated glass loop for hanging. One point on each star bears an acid-etched Rosenthal mark consisting of a crown above the name Rosenthal with crossed lines. The set is accompanied by its original black cardboard presentation box with a fitted interior. The box is printed with the product name, designer attribution, and manufacturer details including Rosenthal Glas und Porzellan AG, Selb, West Germany. Each ornament measures approximately 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter. The ornaments are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or scratches. The original box is included and shows minor shelf wear consistent with age.
