Description
A group of three art glass hanging roundels or suncatchers. The collection includes one iridescent green glass disc and two clear textured glass discs. The green roundel is hand-worked with a deep green body and an all-over iridescent finish showing blue, violet, and gold tones. It features a fine mottled surface pattern, an applied green glass hanging loop at the top, and a ground and polished pontil mark on the reverse. This piece is in the style of early 20th-century iridescent art glass such as Tiffany Favrile or Loetz. The two clear roundels are of graduated sizes and feature a deeply molded, radiating texture on one side resembling stylized palm fronds or fan leaves. Each clear disc has a small circular hole near the top edge for hanging. No maker marks or signatures are present on any of the items. Measurements: Iridescent Green Roundel: 5.5 inches in diameter Larger Clear Roundel: 5.25 inches in diameter Smaller Clear Roundel: 3.75 inches in diameter.
