Description
This jewelry suite is attributed to Jay King for Desert Rose Trading and consists of a graduated bead necklace with a central pendant and a pair of matching stud earrings. The necklace is constructed with polished rectangular red sponge coral beads separated by small, dark metallic spacer beads. The focal point is a large, central triangular red sponge coral pendant. The necklace is secured with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp and includes a silver link chain extender finished with a teardrop-shaped tag. The matching round stud earrings feature circular inlay panels of red sponge coral bisected by a bright blue stripe, likely turquoise or a turquoise-colored composite, set within sterling silver bezels. The earrings are equipped with post and butterfly backs. All pieces are hallmarked with the maker mark DR, CHINA, and 925.
