The lower right corner of the print bears a stylized signature in gold-colored marker. The reverse of the frame includes an exhibition label from the Southwest Michigan Council of Camera Clubs (S.W.M.C.C.C.) with the club code GP2, the date 10-97, the title Below the Surface, and the maker James Ayotte. A red ribbon is also attached to the verso, marked Nature Print and Southwest Michigan Council of Camera Clubs. Frame: 24 x 27 inches The print is in good condition with no apparent fading, silvering, or surface damage. The frame has plastic loss to two sides exposing the bare wood.
