A contemporary stylized ceramic bird sculpture featuring a modernist, streamlined form with the head turned back toward the body. The piece is constructed from ceramic and utilizes Raku firing techniques. Length: 12 inches The sculpture is in good overall condition. The extensive craquelure is an intended result of the Raku firing process. There is a small, shallow chip on the tip of the beak. The matte black body shows minor surface scuffs and shelf wear consistent with handling.
