Description
This tall cylindrical vessel is constructed of terracotta earthenware with a slightly flared rim and a gently tapered body. The exterior surface is finished with a mottled brown and orange slip. This piece is characteristic of 20th-century Mexican artisanal pottery resembling the work of Armando or similar folk art studios inspired by Pre-Columbian archaeological designs. Height: 9.25 inches Rim Diameter: 5 inches The vessel is in good overall condition. A minor horizontal surface scratch or firing line is present on the back of the body. The rim exhibits small firing pits and minor wear consistent with handling. No significant chips, cracks, or professional repairs are observed.
