Description
A collection of hand-carved mahogany wood napkin rings, attributed to Jedando Handicrafts. Each piece features a safari-themed animal figurine atop a cylindrical ring set on a pedestal base. The figures represent various African savanna fauna, including a zebra, lion, elephant, rhinoceros, giraffe, leopard, and several horned antelopes. The pieces exhibit natural wood grain and various hand-applied details, such as black painted stripes on the zebra and dark spots on the giraffe and leopard. The elephant includes small, inset light-colored tusks. Each piece is mounted on an integrated circular or square footed base. No visible maker’s marks were observed. Heights range from approximately 3.5 to 5 inches The collection is in good overall condition with minor surface wear consistent with use. There are small scuffs and light scratches to the wood finish on several pieces. The hand-painted accents show minimal fading. All structures appear sound.
