Description
A trio of silver-toned metal pins featuring Southwestern motifs. The first item is a stylized four-legged animal pin, possibly a horse or deer, set with a central oval cabochon of what appears to be turquoise with natural dark matrix. The body is decorated with stamped arrow and chevron designs and bears the maker’s mark for Bell Trading Post on the reverse. The second item is a roadrunner brooch with linear decorative incisions and a round cabochon eye that appears to be turquoise. The third item is a small bird pin with a turquoise-colored inlay and a small dot for the eye, secured with a butterfly-clutch back. The stones display light to medium blue-green colors. No metal fineness marks are present. Roadrunner brooch: 1.75 inches Stylized animal pin: 1.25 inches Small bird pin: 0.75 inches Total weight: 6.7 grams. All items exhibit minor surface scratches and tarnish consistent with age. The pin mechanisms and clutch are in functional condition. No significant chips or scratches are visible on the stones
