Description
This African banana fiber art collage on board depicts three zebras in a horizontal composition. The work is executed using dried and stained plant fibers, such as banana leaf, layered against a golden-toned background. The piece is signed with the initials GK in the upper right corner. The artwork is housed in a light-colored wood frame with a black textured liner. The verso is covered in brown paper and includes a hanging wire. Measurement: 19.5 inches wide X 13.5 in. high The surface of the organic medium exhibits fine, stable cracking characteristic of dried plant fibers.
