Description
This color etching and aquatint on paper by Luigi Kasimir depicts a winter scene at Hietzing Church. The composition is dominated by a gnarled, snow-dusted tree with delicate weeping branches in the foreground, while the church and a fountain are visible in the background. The work features a distinct rectangular plate mark and is executed on a thin, textured paper with deckled edges. In the lower-left margin, the piece is titled Hietzing Church -, and a publisher’s chop mark consisting of a copyright symbol over the letters B & B is visible in the lower-left corner of the image area. The lower-right margin bears the signature Luigi Kasimir.
