Description
An 18 karat yellow gold plated figural brooch by Erwin Pearl, designed as a perched bird. The piece features a highly textured surface simulating plumage, with a polished beak and detailed feathers on the wings and tail. The eyes are set with two round faceted stones. The reverse is finished with a textured surface and features a horizontal pin stem with a revolving safety catch. The interior reverse bears a raised rectangular cartouche marked © E. PEARL Dimensions: 2.5 inches. The brooch is in very good condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use. Both ruby eyes are present and securely set. The pin mechanism is functional.
