The piece features a vibrant, multi-colored design with horizontal bands of iridescent purple, turquoise, and gold-tone pigments across the wings. The upper borders are accented with fine purple glitter, while the lower wing segments feature small, raised points of blue and red paint. The central body is finished in a bright pink with a dense coating of iridescent glitter, topped with a red head and green-and-yellow painted accents. The ornament is fitted with a fluted gold-tone metal cap and includes a circular gold-tone metal tag embossed with a stylized five-pointed star, a signature mark for the maker. Wingspan: 4.5 inches.
