Description
A large, two-piece glazed ceramic cookie jar designed in the form of a Nutcracker King. The figure is depicted with a white curled wig and beard, wearing a red military jacket with gold-toned epaulettes and a red crown adorned with multi-colored faux-jewel cabochons. The underside features an incised signature reading Radko alongside a multi-pointed star symbol. Labels on the base include a care instruction sticker and a handwritten Jacobson’s retail tag with the price 250.00. Height: 16.5 inches. The item is in good overall condition. There is a small area of loss to the gold-toned finish on the front edge of the gold trim where it meets the white hair. A minor chip is present on the red-glazed inner rim of the jar base where the lid sits. The underside shows light shelf wear and retains small felt protective pads. No cracks or repairs were observed.
