This set of five glazed earthenware bowls is from the Gates Ware collection designed by Laurie Gates. Each bowl bears a black printed mark on the underside for Gates Ware by Laurie Gates, stating they are dishwasher and microwave safe, not for use in an oven, and manufactured in China. Large bowl diameter: 8.5 inches Large bowl height: 3.75 inches Smaller bowls diameter: 5.5 inches. The collection is in excellent overall condition, appearing bright and showing minimal signs of use. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. A minor, pin-sized firing anomaly is present on the rim of one smaller bowl, which is a common characteristic of hand-painted earthenware.
