Description
A pair of Fitz and Floyd hand-painted glazed ceramic decorative items, designed as votive candle holders or small candy dishes with a whimsical Halloween theme. Each holder is modeled as a large, startled ghost with a flowing white sheet that forms a shallow, orange-glazed basin. A small, detailed figure of a witch in a black and white striped hat is perched at the front edge of each basin. The undersides of both pieces feature a white rectangular sticker with the Fitz and Floyd back-to-back FF logo and the word TAIWAN. Included is a blue Fitz and Floyd branded storage box . THIS BOX IS NOT THE ORIGINAL BOX FOR THESE ITEMS. Height of tallest ghost: approximately 6 inches Overall length: approximately 9 inches. Both items are in good condition with minor signs of age and use. One piece has a small, shallow chip to the white glaze on the rim of the interior orange basin. There is typical light shelf wear and minor soiling to the unglazed footrims on the bases. The accompanying box shows significant wear, tearing, and old tape residue.
