Description
A collection of mid-century holiday decorations featuring two original cardboard boxes by Franke, marked Made in U.S.A. The boxes contain red mercury glass globes. Additional items include various mercury glass spheres in blue, green, silver, and red, some with frosted or stenciled designs. The set is completed by artisanal style ornaments including a white beaded star with blue bead accents and a central red glass globe, a green wire star with multicolored beads, and a red and white satin-wrapped ornament embellished with red plastic beads. Box Width: 9 inches. Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. Visible finish loss, oxidation, and silvering degradation are present across the glass ornaments. The original boxes exhibit shelf wear, edge rubbing, and a puncture to one cellophane window. The figural bird ornament shows significant finish loss. Not inspected.
