Description
This vintage jewelry set from the 1974 Avon Castillian collection consists of a matching pendant necklace and a pair of clip-on drop earrings. Each piece is constructed from yellow gold-tone base metal featuring an ornate, openwork filigree design. The items are set with two oval cabochons: a larger deep orange cabochon and a smaller light salmon-colored cabochon, appearing to be simulated coral. The reverse of each earring and the pendant features a rectangular mark with the name AVON and a copyright symbol clearly visible. The earrings are suspended from polished gold-tone bead tops with clip-on backs. The pendant is attached to a fine curb link chain. The set is presented in the original cream and blue cardboard boxes, which are marked AVON PRODUCTS, INC., DIST. NEW YORK, NEW YORK 10019 and COPYRIGHT AVON PRODUCTS, INC. 1974.

The set is in good vintage condition with minimal surface wear. The simulated coral cabochons are secure and free of visible damage. The gold-tone finish is well-preserved. The original presentation boxes are included and show light shelf wear and minor age-related discoloration.
