Description
This is a Franklin Heirloom Dolls collector doll titled The Snow Queen, designed by doll artist Joy Bradley and dated 1989. The doll is constructed with a hand-painted bisque porcelain head, hands, and feet on a stuffed cloth body. Features include fixed inset blue eyes with painted lashes and hand-applied facial details. The original costume consists of a floor-length white satin gown with a silver mesh lattice bodice and silver lace trim at the hemline. The doll wears a large white feathered headpiece accented with a beaded band and a central faceted faux crystal. Included accessories are a matching handheld masquerade mask featuring silver lace, white feathers, faux pearls, and floral accents, as well as a separate silver and white lace wrap that remains sealed in its original plastic packaging. The lot is accompanied by the original Certificate of Authenticity, a Special Notice care sheet, and a descriptive informational card. The item is contained within its original white repeating-logo cardboard box with factory tissue paper and protective foam inserts.

The doll and its accessories are in excellent, unused condition, appearing never to have been removed from the original factory packaging. The lace wrap remains factory-sealed. All documentation is present and well-preserved. The original cardboard box exhibits minor shelf wear and light age-related discoloration but remains structurally sound.
