Description
This lot features a pair of vintage Mattel Hot Wheels Redline series die-cast metal vehicles. The first vehicle is a Sir Rodney Roadster (1973) with a yellow body decorated with orange flame tampos. The second vehicle is a Porsche 917 (1969) with an orange body, pink and yellow Flying Colors style racing stripes, and the number 9 on the front hood.
Both measure approximately 2.5 inches long.
Both vehicles are in played-with condition. The Sir Rodney Roadster shows significant paint chipping and wear along the fenders and high points; the brown plastic roof canopy is present but loose. The Porsche 917 exhibits heavy paint loss, surface scratches, and general play wear throughout; the rear engine cover has become detached from the main body. Wheels on both vehicles remain functional.
