Description
This lot features two vintage dolls of different styles. The first is a mid-century Spanish souvenir flamenco dancer doll manufactured by Marin Chiclana. The doll is constructed with a plastic or vinyl head and arms, featuring a black synthetic wig styled with a traditional high comb and yellow floral accent. She is dressed in an original yellow satin flamenco gown with multiple tiers of black lace ruffles and a black lace mantilla. The doll holds a small, decorated folding fan and retains its original blue ink paper manufacturer tag from Chiclana, Spain, along with a secondary handwritten model tag identifying it as Luisa Campana 4/0.
The second doll is a glazed china head doll featuring a porcelain shoulder plate and porcelain lower limbs. The doll has molded and painted black hair in a wavy style and fixed painted eyes and facial features. She is dressed in a pink satin-style gown featuring black lace trim at the collar and hem, accented by a faux pearl necklace and a central brooch. A simple wire doll stand is included.

The Marin Chiclana doll is in good vintage condition with light fraying to the lace ruffles and mantilla. The china head doll exhibits significant crazing to the glaze on the face and both legs. A distinct horizontal crack is visible on the right leg just above the ankle. The pink satin dress shows minor age-related wear.
