Description
This illuminated porcelain building is part of the A Wonderful Holiday collection, released in 1993 as a tribute to the film Its a Wonderful Life. Titled Travel Agency of Bedford Falls, the piece is a two-story structure featuring a hand-painted red brick facade and a cream Dutch colonial-style gable. The exterior is detailed with a large Travel Agency sign, two display windows advertising Tour Scenic Italy and See the World, and a plaque reading EST 1867. Additional decorative elements include hand-painted flower boxes, miniature wall lanterns, and a textured stone-style base. The underside is incised with the text A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY TM COLLECTION and © 1993 DHC. A gold foil sticker on the base indicates the item was Made in Philippines. The building is accompanied by its original red cardboard box, product number 051 05 0054, and a white clip-in light cord with a rotary on/off switch.
Measures: 5.5 x 4 x 6.25 inches tall
The porcelain building is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The electrical components have been tested and are functional. The original box shows minor signs of shelf wear and creasing at the corners.
