This 21-piece set of American earthenware dinnerware is from the Franciscan Coronado line, featuring a characteristic molded swirl pattern and a monochromatic aqua matte glaze. The set was produced by Gladding, McBean and Co. in California.
6 Dinner plates: 10.5 inches diameter
4 Salad or bread and butter plates: 7.5 inches diameter
7 Small bowls: 6.5 inches diameter
Oval serving platter: 12.5 inches length
Large serving bowl: 9.5 inches diameter
Lidded sugar bowl: 4.5 inches height
Creamer: 4 inches height.
The set shows signs of moderate use consistent with age. Utensil marks and surface scratching are visible on the centers of the plates. There is minor shelf wear on the unglazed footrings. Overall, the pieces are in good vintage condition with no observed chips, cracks, or repairs.
