Description
This original sand painting on canvas is by Myung Mario Jung (born 1949) and depicts a still life of two Southwest-style pottery jars arranged on a ledge. The artwork is executed using a heavily textured technique involving colored sand and mineral pigments applied to the canvas surface. The verso includes a label from Creative Galleries, Inc. of Kalamazoo, Michigan, identifying the piece as part of a collectors series, number 74 B 153.
10.5 x 8.5 inches (frame).
