Description
This lot features the vintage video game Willow for the Nintendo Entertainment System NES, published by Capcom in 1989. The set includes the plastic game cartridge, the original paper instruction manual, and a black plastic Nintendo-branded dust sleeve. The game is an action-adventure title based on the 1988 Lucasfilm motion picture. The cartridge front label displays the Capcom logo, stylized game title, the official Nintendo Seal of Quality, and product code NES-WI-USA. The reverse of the gray plastic cartridge features an embossed Nintendo logo and a gray caution sticker with copyright information dated 1985. The instruction manual features a grayscale cover illustration with the game title and product code. The back cover of the manual displays the Capcom logo, company address in Santa Clara, California, and copyright information for Lucasfilm Ltd. and Capcom Co. Ltd. dated 1988 and 1989. Both the cartridge and manual were manufactured or printed in Japan.
The game cartridge is in good vintage condition with minor surface wear to the plastic housing and light scuffing on the front label.
