Description
This oil painting on canvas board, signed in the lower right corner, depicts a tranquil rural landscape. The work is housed in an ornate, multi-tiered gilt wood frame featuring a heavily textured “cracked” craquelure finish and a wide, fabric-covered inner liner. The verso is sealed with brown paper and retains a single triangular metal hanging bracket at the top.

The painting is in good overall condition. The paint layer is stable with no visible signs of loss or craquelure. The brown paper backing on the verso has a small puncture near the bottom edge.
