Description
This oil on canvas panel still life features a green glass flagon with a spout, a tilted terracotta-toned bowl, and a white ceramic pitcher. The painting is signed Walt Kuhn in red pigment at the lower center. The verso of the panel bears an original manufacturer label for Deltex Canvas Panels by Delta Brush Mfg. Corp., New York, noting a size of 18 by 24 inches. The name Walt Kuhn is also inscribed in script at the upper left of the panel backing.

The painting shows surface dirt and scattered white speckling, most notably in the lower left quadrant. There are minor scuffs and tiny paint losses at the extreme edges due to frame contact. The reverse of the canvas panel displays light staining and foxing. The gilt frame has minor surface wear and small areas of gilding loss commensurate with age.
