Description
This lot features a two-sided early 20th-century reproduction prints on heavy cream-colored cardstock. The first print is a reproduction of a marble sculpture after Louis-Simon Boizot titled Venus et l Amour, depicting a seated Venus with Cupid. The lower margin contains a printed caption reading BOIZOT. – Vénus et l Amour. Marbre, XVIIIe siècle (collection Paul Gouvert). The second print is a blue-toned reproduction of a drawing after Pierre-Paul Prud hon titled Etude de nu (crayon), showing a female nude study. The caption reads P.-P. PRUD HON. – Étude de nu (crayon). XVIIIe – XIXe siècle (collection M. Laporte).

The Boizot print exhibits minor surface abrasions, visible as small white spots on the lower legs of the figure, and light wear to the cardstock corners. The Prud hon print shows significant and widespread foxing and brown spotting throughout the image area. The left edge of the Prud hon plate is rough and irregular, suggesting it was removed from a bound volume.
