Description
This Lalique frosted crystal figurine, titled Leda and the Swan (Leda et le Cygne), is model number 11905. The sculpture depicts a stylized kneeling female nude in a graceful, bowed pose beside a swan, whose features are integrated into the rounded, abstract base. The figure is finished in a uniform frosting, while the circular base is clear and polished. The piece is signed on the side of the base with a hand-etched script reading Lalique France followed by a registered trademark symbol. The underside retains a clear adhesive label with a black bar containing the text Lalique Paris and a white paper inventory label printed with the numerals 11905.
