Description
A frosted crystal glass figurine of a sparrow, identified as the Moineau Coquet model, produced by Lalique France. The piece depicts a bird in a leaning, pecking posture with stylized feathering on the wings and tail. The bird is mounted on an integral frosted base with a polished, clear underside. The underside of the base features an incised cursive signature reading Lalique France.
Height: 3 inches.
Condition report:
The figurine exhibits a small chip at the tip of the wing (as pictured) The polished base shows minor surface scratches consistent with age and handling.
