Description
A frosted and clear lead glass figurine of an owl, identified as the Rapace model (also known as the Little Owl) produced by the French glassmaker Lalique. The figurine is depicted in a static, upright position with detailed molded textures representing the feathers on the wings and the distinct facial disk. The piece utilizes the signature Lalique contrast between satin-finished frosted surfaces and polished clear glass. The side of the base is hand-etched with the cursive signature Lalique France.
