Description
This Lalique crystal paperweight, identified as the Caravelle pattern, features a detailed three-masted sailing ship depicted in intaglio on the reverse of a clear, semi-circular crystal plaque. The frosted finish of the intaglio design creates a three-dimensional effect of a ship sailing on waves when viewed through the polished front surface. The plaque is joined to a solid cylindrical crystal base. The side of the base features an etched cursive signature reading Lalique France. The piece is constructed from lead crystal with a combination of clear polished and frosted surfaces.

The item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs visible. There is minimal shelf wear on the underside of the base consistent with age and handling.
